Další rána dolaru: Rusko a BRICS oznamují pokrok v platebním systému

Ten má umožnit přeshraniční platby mezi zeměmi BRICS v národních měnách a snížit závislost na americkém dolaru a západní platební infrastruktuře.

Dohoda mezi RDIF, společností BRICS Pay a indickým partnerem byla oznámena během návštěvy ruského prezidenta Vladimira Putina v Indii před summitem BRICS v Dillí.
Cílem je propojit národní platební systémy, usnadnit obchod a investice a vytvořit alternativu k dosavadním mechanismům, které podle ruské strany umožňují kontrolu prostřednictvím korespondenčních účtů a sankcí.
Dmitrijev uvedl, že moderní platební infrastruktura je klíčová pro růst obchodu a investic mezi zeměmi BRICS. Systém má doplňovat existující národní řešení a podporovat jejich interoperabilitu.
