V městečku Erftstadt jihozápadně od Kolína nad Rýnem se částečně nebo zcela zhroutil řada domů. Z mnoha z nich se podle místních úřadů ozývá volání o pomoc. K zaplaveným stavbám se ale záchranáři nyní dostanou jen v člunech.
